One rule, explored deeply
A good puzzle game keeps finding new consequences of a single idea. Add a second rule only when the first has run out of surprises.
Explain the rule that makes your puzzle interesting. Oryn plans the levels, builds a Godot 4 game with undo and a move count where the design calls for them, and adds its own art and soundtrack. Play it in the browser, then say which levels are too easy.
A good puzzle game keeps finding new consequences of a single idea. Add a second rule only when the first has run out of surprises.
The first level of each idea should be nearly impossible to fail. The player learns from the board, with little or no text.
Undo and a quick restart let people experiment. A par score gives experts a reason to come back without blocking anyone else.
Pieces can be selected and dragged, or moved with a keyboard or gamepad cursor, and the board always fits the screen. Walking, pushing, sliding and matching rules are ready parts.
Sokoban and sliding-tile boards come with undo and restart buttons and show your moves against par.
Oryn generates the pictures, sprites and textures your design calls for, and every new game gets its own soundtrack. A large free library from Kenney, KayKit, Quaternius, Poly Haven and ambientCG fills the rest.
Take the editable project as a .zip, or export Windows, macOS and Linux builds, a signed Android APK and AAB, an Xcode project for iOS, or Steam depots. Store accounts and uploads stay with you.
Write the rule, what the player moves and how a level is won. Say whether there is a timer or a move limit, because that sets the mood.
Oryn asks a few planning questions, then writes a game design document. Nothing is built until you approve it.
The first build takes about 30 minutes. Oryn writes the Godot project and a web build you can play right away.
Play in the browser, say what should change, and keep every version that works. Export whenever you like.
| Tool | Where you work | What you get | Coding |
|---|---|---|---|
| Oryn | Browser, by chat | Godot 4 project and web build, first build in about 30 minutes | Not needed |
| Tesana | Browser, by chat | Three.js browser game, in under 5 minutes on average by its own figure | Not needed |
| GDevelop | Editor, web or desktop | Game in GDevelop's own engine | Event sheets instead of code |
| Godot by hand | Godot editor | Whatever you build | GDScript or C# |
As of November 2026, from each tool's own pages. Prices and features change.
You can plan up to three games and build your first one for free. Changing it afterwards or building more games needs a paid plan.
Don't assume so: play them all before you share the game. AI output varies between runs, and only a person can tell whether a level is fun. If one is broken or dull, say which and it gets reworked.
Grid games such as sokoban, match-3 and sliding tiles have ready parts, and pair-matching card games do too. Describe anything else and it goes into the plan, but a rule far from those parts needs more playtesting.
They fit well, because tapping and dragging need little precision and short levels survive interruptions. Choose Mobile Game in the composer and say whether you want portrait.
The first build takes about 30 minutes. Some tools are faster: Tesana says its generation time now averages under 5 minutes, as of November 2026. Oryn spends the extra time on a full Godot project with its own art and soundtrack.
No. You describe the game and the changes in plain words. If you do code, the exported project is ordinary Godot with readable scripts.
Yes, and you can release it wherever you like. Each game ships with a CREDITS.md listing the engine, the asset sources and what shipping requires. Read it first, because some generated assets need a commercial-use check.
